These Terms apply to your use of AI Live Translator, including the Chrome extension, website account pages, billing flows, and support. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
AI Live Translator is currently a beta listen-only Chrome extension for live browser audio translation. Features, availability, prices, limits, supported sources, and quality may change during the beta.
The current service translates audio from the browser tab you choose after you press Start. It provides translated speech and live captions for supported browser tabs with playable audio, including videos, courses, webinars, livestreams, Google Meet in Chrome, Zoom Web in Chrome, and similar browser-based audio or call pages.
The current version does not translate your outgoing microphone speech, does not inject translated audio into a meeting, does not support native Zoom or Google Meet apps, does not translate system-wide desktop audio, and does not guarantee that every website or audio source will work.
You need an account to claim trial minutes, buy minutes, use paid translation, and link the extension. Supported sign-in methods may include Google, Microsoft when enabled, and one-time email codes through Supabase Auth.
The extension-link flow is account-scoped and session-scoped. Do not share account sessions, extension session tokens, one-time codes, or billing access with anyone else.
Use the service only where you have the right to listen to, process, and translate the source audio. You are responsible for following applicable laws, meeting rules, platform terms, workplace or school policies, confidentiality duties, and any consent requirements that apply to the audio you choose to translate.
Do not use the service for unlawful surveillance, harassment, stalking, recording or processing audio where you lack permission, bypassing access controls, violating another service's terms, or making automated high-stakes decisions about people.
Do not abuse the service by automating signups, creating duplicate accounts to claim extra promotional minutes, reselling access, sharing paid entitlements outside your account, interfering with the service, reverse engineering the extension, probing for secrets, or attempting to bypass usage limits.
Translation quality may vary with accents, background noise, overlapping speech, names, numbers, technical terminology, network conditions, browser load, and the language pair. Do not rely on AI Live Translator for medical, legal, financial, emergency, safety-critical, or other high-stakes decisions without qualified human verification.
The extension is free to install and includes 10 free live translation minutes for eligible linked accounts. Continued translation requires available trial or monthly plan minutes. Active paid subscribers can add top-up minutes. Runtime access is controlled by the AI Live Translator backend minute ledger.
Payments are processed by AI Live Translator through Stripe Checkout. Google is not the seller and Chrome Web Store installation does not grant paid translation entitlement. Minutes are added only after AI Live Translator receives the relevant signed Stripe webhook or other backend-confirmed entitlement event.
Monthly plan minutes reset with the applicable billing cycle and do not roll over unless a later written plan term says otherwise. Launch top-ups are 50 extra translation minutes for active paid subscribers. Top-up minutes remain on the account and are used after monthly plan minutes, but access to top-up minutes requires an active paid monthly subscription.
Top-up minutes are product minutes only. They are not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and cannot be used for third-party services.
Manage or cancel an active monthly subscription through the Stripe Billing Portal when it is available for your account. Cancellation affects future renewal; it does not remove monthly minutes already available for the current plan cycle.
Except where required by law, used translation minutes are not refundable. If you believe a charge was duplicate, unauthorized, failed to grant minutes, or otherwise incorrect, contact support at contact@livetranslation.pro so we can review the Stripe payment record and backend minute ledger. Approved billing corrections or refunds are processed through Stripe.
If payment fails, a subscription becomes past due or canceled, a checkout does not complete, or a payment dispute is opened, we may pause paid translation, update account status, adjust the minute ledger, or require you to update billing before continuing.
Free trial minutes are promotional and limited to one trial per eligible person, account, and linked installation. We may limit, reduce, suspend, or revoke promotional minutes if we detect automated signups, duplicate accounts, abuse, fraud, attempts to bypass usage limits, or activity that creates disproportionate service costs.
Use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy. The current Stage 2A beta does not store raw audio or transcripts by default and does not collect browser history, screenshots, page content, meeting URLs, or video URLs for the translation flow.
The service depends on third-party services including Chrome, OpenAI, Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, email delivery, and selected identity providers. Their services and terms may also apply. AI Live Translator is not a native Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft, Google, OpenAI, Stripe, or Chrome Web Store integration unless expressly stated.
You are responsible for the source audio you choose to translate and for how you use translated output. We do not claim ownership of your source audio or the live translated output, but using AI Live Translator does not give you rights to third-party content that you did not already have.
We may change, limit, suspend, or stop providing part or all of the beta service where needed for security, reliability, legal compliance, provider availability, payment status, abuse prevention, or product changes. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or create risk for the service or other users.
The service is provided as a beta service without guaranteed uptime, accuracy, latency, translation quality, or availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Live Translator is not liable for decisions made from unverified translations, unsupported sources, provider downtime, network conditions, or use of the service in violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms as the beta changes. If a change is material, we will update the posted Terms and provide any required notice before the change applies. For support or legal questions about these Terms, contact contact@livetranslation.pro.
